Welcome to Warwick Mixed Netball
Here at MN we welcome everyone to come play netball, whether you're a pro already or have never touched a netball before. There are absolutely no trials in order to join. There are some members of our current exec who hadn't played netball before joining so there's no pressure to be a star player during training sessions.
You will soon discover that our main focus as a club isn’t to create an elite netball team to take on the world (we’re not about to enter any world championships here), but to create a balance between a relaxed sports environment, where students can enjoy getting fit, and a great place to meet friends (and of course, we have some fantastic socials!) Despite being a mainly non-competitive club, on occasion, especially during our weekly/fortnightly matches, there tends to be some rivalry and competition within the club.
Mixed Netball in Warwick is a hugely diverse club with over 100 members. So it's impossible not to make friends. The social scene at MN is huge: despite being a sports club, some members join purely to make friends and do activities. We circle at Pop! most weeks and have a wide range of ‘sober socials’ throughout term.
